Tutoring is something that Kamika had always done among her family members. Now she uses her math skills to serve struggling students in her community as a math tutor. “Math Corps was a great asset to bring to Dougherty County. It has been so great for our children here.”
Kamika believes her work with Math Corps is extremely rewarding. She finds the transformation in students incredible. “You go from working with a child who doesn’t want to do math, to having to close your office door because it isn’t their tutoring time!”
