With students across the nation feeling the impact of unfinished learning due to COVID-19, our team is always exploring opportunities to bring our proven model to new communities. We’re excited to share that we’re currently collaborating with Serve Idaho to provide support for students in Idaho.
“We are very excited about the opportunity to bring our programming to Idaho,” said Lizzie Morris Vogt, Director of Partnerships and Expansion. “Students in Idaho need extra support with reading and as leaders in this work, Reading Corps is ready to help.
Although still in the preliminary stages of discussion and planning, Reading Corps could launch in Idaho as early as August 2023. We’re envisioning an initial cohort of 30 tutors serving schools throughout rural Idaho. We’re looking forward to this new partnership and the possibilities that it brings.
Stay tuned for more updates on the launch of Reading Corps in Idaho!
