Rymsky Husband is retired and was looking for an opportunity to help in her community when she heard about Reading Corps. “I wanted to be a part of helping the children be successful.” Even after only being apart of Reading Corps for a few months Rymsky already has developed fulfilling relationships with her students. “To see the excitement on a child’s face when they’ve been told they did a great job is my favorite part of serving.” When asked about being a part of AmeriCorps newest program she said “This is such a fulfilling assignment, being able to be a part of seeing the results and knowing that you play a part in helping the children is great. All of us that are a part of this thing when we work together I believe we’ll have success.”
