Minnesota Reading Corps is funded through a public-private partnership and schools pay no fees for the people, technology and evidence-based interventions we bring. You provide only in-kind coaching support and a workspace for tutors.

Each year, approximately 60 percent of our tutors — more than 700 in all — tell us that their Reading Corps experience has inspired them to become educators. And principals routinely tell us they love to hire former Reading Corps tutors because of their extensive training, coaching and experience.

Two Approaches for Specific Needs


Tutors are embedded in the classroom to support Tier 1 instruction and provide additional small-group or one-on-one time for students in Tier 2 or 3.
