Gio is a recent high-school graduate who was looking for his next step. After hearing nothing but great things about Early Learning Corps from a friend who serves, he applied to tutor preschoolers in Florida. He says the part-time option aligns perfectly with his schedule, so he is able to continue working his other job as well.
He says he is most looking forward to being able to grow and guiding the kids to become better at the skills the doubt themselves on. “I’ve heard great things and honestly am just excited to have a happy work environment.”
Gio plans to use his education award to attend trade school so he can achieve his future goals of becoming an HVAC technician or something else in the electric field.
