We’re excited to help launch a new strategic initiative of ServeMinnesota in September! Developed by a climate design team, in collaboration with the University of Minnesota Department of Forestry, Minnesota Green Corps and Tree Trust, the Community Forestry Corps will engage a team of AmeriCorps members in the preservation and revitalization of Minnesota’s forests.
Community Forestry Corps members will serve 40 hours a week at a nonprofit or public agency with a mission to preserve and protect Minnesota’s environment and strengthen communities, with a focus on preserving and increasing tree canopy.
Term of Service: September 27 – August 28
Stipend: $650 every two weeks
Health Insurance: Individual coverage with no monthly premium
Education Award: $6,195.95 for tuition or student loans
